Helpful tips for preparing a proposal to the Foundation. |

Do:
- Submit a brief two-page concept paper
- Remember that we are a health foundation
- Tailor your request to our interests and guidelines
- Answer all questions and include all required information
- Use clear, concise language
- Make sure the budget figures add up and the budget narrative fully explains the figures
- Have someone else read your proposal before submitting
Don't:
- Send a list of project ideas and ask us to pick the best one
- Include jargon or assume we know as much about the project as you do
- Use vague language or make bold statements not supported by data
- Ask for more money than you need
- Ask for an extension or submit your proposal late
